Optimizing Exoskeleton Design with Evolutionary Computation: An Intensive Survey

چکیده
Exoskeleton devices are designed for applications such as rehabilitation, assistance, and haptics. Due to the nature of physical human–machine interaction, designing operating these is quite challenging. Optimization methods lessen severity challenges help designers develop device they need. In this paper, we present an extensive systematic literature search on optimization used mechanical design exoskeletons. We completed in IEEE, ACM, MDPI databases between 2017 2023 using keywords “exoskeleton”, “design”, “optimization”. categorized our findings terms which limb (i.e., hand, wrist, arm, or leg) application (assistive, haptic) exoskeleton was for, metrics (force transmission, workspace, size, adjustability/calibration), method (categorized evolutionary computation non-evolutionary methods). discuss observations with respect how have been implemented based findings. conclude paper suggestions future research.

Optimizing a Data Warehouse Using Evolutionary Computation
A data warehouse stores huge amounts of data collected from multiple sources and enables users to query that data for analytical and reporting purposes. Data in a data warehouse can be represented as a multidimensional cube. Data warehouse queries tend to be very complex, thus their evaluation requires long hours. Precomputing a proper set of the queries (building subcubes) may significantly re...
متن کاملOptimizing a reconfigurable material via evolutionary computation.
Rapid prototyping by combining evolutionary computation with simulations is becoming a powerful tool for solving complex design problems in materials science. This method of optimization operates in a virtual design space that simulates potential material behaviors and after completion needs to be validated by experiment. However, in principle an evolutionary optimizer can also operate on an ac...
متن کاملOptimizing Load Balancing Routing Mechanisms with Evolutionary Computation
Link State routing protocols, such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), are widely applied to intra-domain routing in todays IP networks. They provide a good scalability without lost of simplicity. A router running OSPF distributes traffic uniformly over Equal-cost Multi-path (ECMP), enabling a better distribution of packets among the existent links. More recently, other load balancing strategie...
